Overview

The Kentucky Foreign Language Conference (KFLC) is a long-standing, multi-language research conference held annually in April at the University of Kentucky, in Lexington, Kentucky. 

This international conference, now in its 65th year, features panels in the areas of:

  • French and Francophone Studies
  • German-Austrian-Swiss Studies
  • Hispanic Linguistics
  • Italian Studies
  • Language Technology
  • Luso-Afro-Brazilian Studies
  • Russian Studies
  • Second Language Acquisition
  • Spanish American Studies
  • Spanish Peninsular Studies

The KFLC has a truly international scope, gathering approximately 800 of the top scholars in these disciplines from around the world.
